Explorer 1016 bracelet and end pieces

Hi fellow vintage enthusiasts.

I have an explorer 1016 and wish to attach a 93150 oyster bracelet. Would this use the same end pieces as a 78360 bracelet, i.e. 580? 580s I have seem quite tight in the lugs and doesn't sit well.

Thought I would check before trying to "assist" with the fit. I wonder if the lugs have had a small knock in the past and closed up a fraction?

Any thoughts appreciated.
