Does anyone recognize this watch?...
Hello,
I have posted a picture of a watch that I own and am wondering if anyone has seen a 6020 with this dial? Bob at W.I. (where the watch is now) had never seen one. It is entirely original, AFAIK. It was my father's watch and was purchased by him, in Japan (I think) in the early 1950's. He was a fighter pilot stationed in Fukuoka (Itazuke Air Base) during the Korean War. Given that it is thought to be a Japan market watch might explain the unique (to most folks) dial. I'm just wanting to potentially confirm more detail about the watch. Anything will help. Thanks! Thanks, Ben |

I have seen this dial, but I do feel it has been reprinted in the past. The minute track and SWISS printing are not consistent with original Rolex. Admittedly, the scuffed crystal is causing some distortion, but I'm pretty confident. Neat watch though!
