Icon4 US Open Winner...

...Wears a Rolex Daytona. Do you think he purchased it? Rolex is a US Open sponsor.

Yep, Brooks Koepka sporting the white dial Daytona 500. Also, Go 'Noles!

By the way, Rickie Fowler showed up to the course today wearing a gold Daytona (either yellow or rose, not positive).

The guy didn't remove his cap and turn to all directions of the gallery and barely acknowledged his sweetie. No bueno.

I'll second that go noles! I'm pretty sure this was given to him right before the trophy. Not too shabby along with the $2.1MM winnings.

Looks great

Saw the watch and thought it was the Daytona C and it looks good from a distance. Apparently not under the radar.

They actually identified his girlfriend incorrectly, which was funny. He was strong and held a commanding lead, congrats to Brooks

But a big moment to be sure, probably lost in all of it.

I noticed he was wearing it yesterday when he was coming/going to the locker room.

I doubt it's his. As others have said, Rolex is a primary sponsor and I'm pretty sure that means they own everyone's wrists during interviews etc. Pretty much any time a player is on the property and not playing golf, they're wearing a Rolex of Rolex's choice, and the Daytona seems to be an incredible popular model in the PGA.

Also, Brian Harman was still back on the 18th fairway, and even if Brooks knew for sure that his putt had secured the win, he probably didn't want to disrespect Harman with a big celebration before he had finished.

Those poor fellas. I would hate it if Rolex made me wear a DaytonaC in my free time.

Is he an Ambassador for Rolex? If not I would think its his watch.

Gentlemens game for sure, but Brian H was 3 back and a double eagle was the only Hail Mary left in his bag at that point

When he first sat down in the "score" room to sign his card, it was not on. The next camera shot in very short time back in the same room with him still sitting with the official, the watch was on.

Either way, good looking choice.

I was watching this yesterday; Rolex must highly suggest their watches being visible at all feasible times; in the midst of all the craziness of winning his first major he was able to get that watch on before he even signed his scorecard because i first saw it when he was turning in his card.

We saw quite a number of Rolex watches, and yes, the corporate presence is unique. A small group of us were invited

I was rooting for Kim Si-woo, but congrats to the winner. He closed the deal.

Did Rolex sponsor the US Open the year Rory McIlroy won? I recall he wore an AP in his trophy pic.

Rolex is an official partner with the USGA and have been for some time now.

At that point Harman had already laid up short of the green with his second, eliminating any possibility of making the needed 2, and conceding that he could not possibly catch Koepka...

Maybe you could cut him a little slack... the guy just won the most important golf tourney in the world, after years of making his bones on "minor league" tours in Asia and Europe, he finally breaks through by besting the 156 top players IN THE WORLD and may have been just a little too overwhelmed, at that particular instant, to remember those things... I'm sure he will for the next major he wins...

I like Koepka a lot...seems down to earth and is well liked on tour. Oh and the fact he is rocking the new Daytona is another in the plus column

I backed him at 40/1 so am delighted. I also back Rickie as well, hoping he'll win one soon.

Both regularly wear/put on a 116500.
