15400 or 15450
I have about a 6.25 in wrist. Here is what the 15400 looks like on me. Do you guys think it works or should I go for 15450? Haven't found one to try on yet unfortunately

Too much lug over hang due to the integrated lugs and flared out plots. The million dollar question is how does it feel on your wrist? Try hard to find a 15450 to try on.

The second photo appears like you have too much space between your wrist and where the bracelet starts because of the lugs. Any more photos?

I was just commenting on the 15400 in my thread below yours. I think the 15400 design as a whole is just too big for the type of watch it is. Not to mention, even on my 7.25” wrist, I felt it was too large. Your wrist is small enough that the 15450 will look nice. I say to definitely pass on the 15400, looks like a trendy fit, not a timeless one.

My wrist is also about 6.25” / 158mm, I thought the 15400 was HUGE on me and the 15450 was perfect so that’s what I ended up ordering. Here’s some photos:
15400: Not exactly the 15450, but same size, just with diamonds: |

Feel the 15400 looks comically large on most wrists especially with a plain white dial.

Definitely find a 15450 to try on. The perspective of most of these pictures make the watch look far bigger than in reality. I personally felt the 15450 looked comically small on my 6.5” wrist, but looks great in all of these face on pictures.

I tried both the 15450 and 15400. The 15450 looked small on my 6.5 wrist. I chose the 15400.

My 6.5" wrist is slightly bigger than yours, and I find the 15400 too large for me.
15450 should be good for you |

It all depends on how you feel when they are on your wrist, try both of them and decide.

My wrist is 6.75", and I just really wish there were still a regular 39mm. I can wear 41mm watches just fine, and the one time I tried on a 15400 it looked perfectly acceptable, but in a perfect world it would be 39 or 40.
My fear is that I'll break down and buy a 15400 (probably already would have if the blue were more casually available) and the next Basel will see a 40mm model. |
