Hello, new Midlands member

Hi, I’ve wanted a Rolex for the last 25 years and now my kids have flown the nest I think I can finally treat myself!
Am I allowed to ask for advice on this post? Is so here goes!
I am looking to buy the lady datejust 279173 which is showing as Rrp £8200.00 inc Vat. After reading the pricing post should I actually be able to get it for £6750.00 inc Vat?
I’m in the Midlands and contacted the closest 2 ADs who both have the watch. I’m also happy to go further afield to other ADs. I want the peace of mind of buying a genuine one as this will be my only Rolex purchase and I don’t want to worry about whether I’ve been ripped off for a fake. I had been looking at second hand on a couple of websites, but I’ve waited this long - I think I deserve a new one lol.
I can’t post links but it is the 28 ladydatejust, TT, jubilee bracelet, diamond markers and silver dial.
Thank you if anyone can advise.

Hello, also from the midlands, not a hard watch to source, you should be able to do a little arm twisting on that model. :)

And the silver dial is a great choice.
