I love White~Ploprof or NEW Exp II??

Well I missed the Great White but they came out with a "Greater" White Ploprof....the old Rolex Explorer II looker too small so they made it bigger and now I'm banging my head.

I love white but don't know which to get, granted they are both different styles of watch.

What do you think? With the discounts that I can get and taxes factored in the Ploprof will be about $75 more expensive.

Tried on a black one with the steel bracelet thinking it would be a monster but it wasn't to my surprise.

I just spoke to my AD and she said the new Explorer II will be around $7500 to $8000! That's a lot for an Explorer.

but the white one will "look different" on the wrist, especially the one on rubber strap

i thought i'd like one since Basel '10 and i have tried a few times..... i have changed my mind
it i do get one, it'd have to be on the mesh.

I tried on the black Ploprof with mesh bracelet and it was very big. Looks like a dive tool. If you really like the design of it, then go for it. I would get one if it could fit into my budget lol, but I have plans for an Orange PO LM instead because I prefer a more traditional design.

Way to help out a member who's been agonizing over a purchase decision for 2 1/2 years.

The PloProf defies all logic...

There's is no way a practical mind could possibly justify this watch...

Yet, I HAVE to have one!!!

I can not say the same about the Explorer... I have honestly never felt the need...

I love everything about the ploprof..but i just dont see myself wearing it because of its massiveness.
The explorer on the other hand (time pun) could easily be my daily wear or even 1 and only.

Explorer for me by a mile. I've never really warmed up to that particular omega.

I completely agree with my good friend R.J. on this one! I like the Omega PloProf too, not such a fan of the Explorer. Sorry guys...

The best thing about the Proplof is the lume on the bezel.

This^^^^^, Omega is just too big to wear for anything but jeans and a polo shirt, while the Polar ExpII could be at home in any attire including weekend wear. On top of that the price is about the same as a new Sub but you've got the Rolex GMT movement! Both are stellar and I'm not sure if you hang on to pieces like I do or flip them...

Had the black PloProf but the beast was not very practical for daily wear.

My 42 polar ExpII is probably the most versatile (and most striking) watch in my collection.

The bright white dial and blue lume give it a truly polar look. And at this time of year, the Christmas lights bouncing off the stainless bezel make me smile.

Not a fan of the PloProf at all, I love my 40mm white Exp. II.

I picked up a Seamaster Great white to put on a strap for a more different look than the Explorer.

Skinny wrist means the PloProf wouldn't be an option. I would go Exp 2.

Agreed. Prices are insane for Rolex’s these days.
