Any love for champagne dials

Hey guys. Over the years I had a few champagne dial watches and none have found any place in my heart. Recently I was lucky enough to purchase a new old stock datejust from the early 80s and I cant stop loving it. I have a new respect for the champagne dial. Any love for them here?

Ugly dials need loving too :D

Prefer white or MOP dials, and maybeeee an Onyx depending on my mood. But hey at least it's not a TAG.

I like champagne but hard for me to see the dial. Your watch is lovely. Enjoy it. :-)

DJs with fluted bezels and DDs call out for champagne dials. They just look right to me. I think other colors are striking, but if I ever wound up with a fluted bezel, the dial would be champagne.

Loved it but couldn't see it anymore. Sold mine and struggling to decide what I want to replace it with. Enjoy!

Hi,

Generally, my favourite for two-tone or solid gold.

My first Rolex, a two-tone Datejust, which I had for four years:

After that, an Oysterquartz Day-Date, sold after six years:

And on a (very briefly) owned Oysterquartz Datejust:

If I ever owned a full gold or two-tone Oyster again, it'd probably be a champagne dial once again I think.

I really think it is a classic look! My only problem is, with my older eye's, it a little tough to see the time in low light. But I still wear it on weekends

Hi KZZN, the OQ day date and 17013 look perfect on you. I will keep that 17013 OQ for sure.
