Good choice. I dislike the sunburst and love the flat dial that's on my smurf.

It's whatever you like that counts...I love the sunburst, but to each his own. Congrats!

Sunburst is definitely more popular bc that is what the dial of the original 16613 was, but I personally found it to be a little too dark for me and now prefer the consistent blue of the 116613 smurf. Unfortunately, it cost me $$$ to swap.

Are you able to post side by side shots of the flat blue and sunburst blue dials under similar lighting conditions? As mentioned earlier, I like both but prefer the flat blue dial. Thanks for sharing your photos!

I don't know if I like it better or not but I sure like it a lot; it's a beauty for certain.

Big Smurph Blue fan here. Loved the Sunburst on the older TT Subs. In fact I owned one. But on the ceramic just love the bezel match up with the Smurph. Great watch you have there!

Don't get me wrong. The sunburst is beautiful and it seems that about 80% or so of us prefer it over the discontinued smurf dial, but the inconsistency of the blue color turned me off and now am happier with the always blue smurf w serti diamonds.

I have always liked the flat blue better and wondered why they changed really.
