Sourcing a Rolex from TRF sellers

I am looking to purchase a particular vintage Rolex that rarely comes up in the For Sale section. Is it appropriate to ask multiple prominent TRF sellers to source the watch or would you ask only one?

I would do one at a time and wait for a reply before sourcing another. If they do not reply within a day or two you can move on to another. They should let you know if they have one or if they can get one in a short amount of time.

If it's rarely for sale I would go one at a time.

It wouldn't be cool if TS-A and TS-B were both able to get one, then you buy from TS-A and TS-B has wasted his time, or worse, has a watch in stock that he's not able to move.

Different Vintage Sellers are in different areas. I would not restrict myself to one area. Just tell them you are searching for it and using other Trusted Sellers to try and find it. jmho

Go to Jacek, if it's vintage, he'll find one.

If you ask several different sellers, you may drive the price up on yourself through artificial competition?

Exactly particularly if it's rare. If it's a common sub then of course you can get multiple quotes but it's a small world and many have similar contacts.
