Marks on Jubilee Bracelets?

Hello All

As per the picture of the Jubilee Bracelet could you let me know if the black marks or dirt between the gaps (not really sure) are normal? Or could this have been caused by over polishing? The watch is just over 2 years old and I am planning to purchase (pre-owned Date Just 116200)

Thank you very much for your comments.

Marks on Jubilee Bracelets?

The picture shows a watch which still has the original case stickers on so it's unlikely to have been polished or excessively used. Is it possible that they are shadows combined with some dust?
What is the condition report for the watch?

It is advertised as pre-owned on a UK website. It comes with box and papers and has 2 years 11 months left on the Warranty. It may have been re-polished by the dealer (pre-owned) dealer. Not sure.

Thanks.

Generally I would say its dirt but I would definitely want some better picture that that. I am far from and expert but it looks weird like its computer generated or something. Probably just the lighting but I would want some regular photos from a phone.

It looks like the stickers were put back on... definitely not polishing dust... probably dirt and grime...

Thanks.

I'm not sure that the watch would need re-polishing if the original case stickers are still in place as they appear to be. My guess would therefore be dust and poor lighting.
However, I can see why you are concerned - especially when you look at the 6 O'Clock side with the dust and shading visible.
I would certainly ask the seller outright if the bracelet has been re-polished.
A phrase often used here is to buy the seller; does your seller have a good track record - and do you trust them?

Yep needs a bath. What would concern me is the seller didnt even take the time to clean it. Doesnt say much about how he handles his watches IMO.

I've seen this before and it's cosmic debris. But seriously, don't just "buy the seller" but you gotta really buy the seller AND the watch.

Looks like dirt to me! But the reapplied stickers raise concerns as why would someone try to make a watch pretend a different reality!

Is my vision off or does that look like a green dial that has never existed?
