I have this on my ROC. I must admit I'm not a great fan of AP's deployment design, nor that of the visible clasp. I think it would be a lot more interesting if this were based upon their buckle design, with AP engraved, rather than full name. In addition, I also think that the strap tapers a bit too much.

Out of interest, do you think that the AUDEMARS PIGUET text has been stamped or engraved? Its just in the pic it looks a bit rounded at the edges, whereas if its been laser engraved it should be quite sharp.

Looks like all the 18mm-wide deployant buckles I own (as shown from left to right on the Survivor, 39mm SS ROC and Jarno Trulli) have the Audemars Piguet engraved.

Interestingly, you have yours put on the reverse way to mine. On mine (put on by AP) when worn the buckle is towards the 6 o'clock side, and if I rotate my wrist I can read the text upright. Is that personal taste?

On all my APs that use a deployant buckle, I reverse the strap (the buckle is closer to "12") as it's much more comfortable on my wrist. If I wear them with the buckle on the 6 side, the curved "arm" of the buckle digs into the side of by wrist bone.

I know alot of friends who wear their APs with the strap reversed.
