As Ben has stated not many of of knows these watches but I much prefer the guilloché dial by Kari Voutilainen on this model.

Some Details on the movement would be good.
In-house movement – Hand-wound – 35h power reserve, with constant force (stop system) – 21,600 vph (3Hz) – 36 jewels, partially set in solid gold chatons – Free sprung with Phillips terminal over coil curve with triangle hairspring stud – Hacking seconds – Hours, minutes, small seconds, governor speed regulator

Curious what do you not like about the dial?

The KV dials are very nice but it's easily a USD7K to USD10K premium on top of the already substantial price for the watch so I decided not to go for it. Salmon dial is usually not my thing, but the color matches well with the sheen of the WG case and the blue strap and everything seems to fit very well. In fact, Gronefeld often use this exact same combination for many of their promotions.

My word, that’s a fabulous timepiece, so much to admire without even wearing it

Gosh that's a beautiful piece to wake up to and view here this morning. Thank you for posting it, and congratulations! That movement is mesmerizing, perhaps overshadowing the beautiful dial. Enjoy!

Great choice ben although I disagree many people here love independents its just only few can afford the truly high end ones and as such have to admire from afar.

Congrats on the lovely watch! I'm obsessed with Grönefeld right now but I just wish they would offer some more neutral colored dial variations on their stainless steel 1941 Principia model and I would be all in. The combination on your watch is stunning but I'm not a gold guy.

This combination was also available in a Stainless Steel Case. But I am quite sure all SS Remontaire is sold out by now. I prefer WG for the subtle richness in hue that only WG have, especially when sunlight hits it.

I ordered mine directly from Tim and Bart. They were very professional and kept in communication during the whole process. I cannot remember exact time but I believe they said about 5 or 6 months received it earlier than the original estimated time (about 3 months later). They respond to emails within a day.

Just read this post - stunning watch! I like the salmon dial a lot on this piece and the movement is absolutely exceptional. Congrats and wear it in the best of health!
