Help with watch winder part name?

Hi,
Sorry if this is in the wrong section but it's the closest I could find.
Could anyone tell me what the proper name is for little metal "nipple"shown on the picture? I bought a new winder and the door doesn't close tight as there's nothing holding it unless the lock mechanism is used.

Is that pin/stud split?
Looks like it, and if so, then you only need to use a small screwdriver or blade to spread it open a bit more. That’ll restore the friction fit it relies on to stay closed.

What I need are more of these fittings as my new winder doesn't have them. No one seems to know what I'm talking about even when I say pin / stud fitting... Any ideas?

What brand winder is that photo of, or is that one you pulled offline?
What’s the brand that is missing these?
I presume you’re going to retrofit them to the new one?

Have you tried Cousins or any of the British made winders?

It's a snap-post ball and socket, or ball and socket latch.

Probably find them at a hobby woodworker supply house. Common on jewelry boxes and small cabinets to both align and hold doors in place.

My new one is a Benson tower black series winder. The black winder is one I bought from eBay which is actually very good for the money. I am going to try and retrofit them onto the new one.

Thank you too, I think they're a bit big though..
