Really relieved that the first thing I saw was "just kidding!"

Some outstanding pictures you have, OP. Looks like some beautiful weather, beautiful countryside, and a beautiful wife to share it with. Hope the trip is amazing and enjoyable, and you picked the perfect travel companion in the 114060!

What is hilarious is...

When we were in Monaco, we stopped at the Rolex AD (located right beside Chopard & Cafe du Paris at casino square). I was wearing my TH Monaco, but when the SA found out I owned the new BLNR jubilee they treated me like royalty. My single SA turned into 2 SAs, the Store Manager, and a jewelry designer they had on staff.

They took Kristie & I upstairs to the VIP rooms and immediately worked on me to buy a Cellini Moonphase and the other SA and jewelry designer worked on Kristie. They gave me a water and Kristie a champagne.

The next thing I knew, Kristie and her “servants” came into my VIP room with her wearing a butterfly ring. It was designed by the designer there.

They sold the same ring to Michael Jordan for his second wife. The ring has 5 carats of black & white diamonds. The one MJ bought had all black diamonds.

It was a cool ring. It actually fits on two fingers (fancy brass knuckles ) and had a button on the underside so that when one places her hand on a flat surface it pushes the button and the wings of the butterfly open wider.

In response to your statement, she is more of a jewelry girl vs a watch girl.

So you did the right thing and picked it up for her??? Or did you convince her you really needed the Cellini for dinner later in the evening!

Great pics. Looks like a great time. And you picked the perfect Rolex icon to wear as well.

Hope you had a great time in southern Spain (and thanks for not just doing the usual Barcelona thing). I was born in Cartagena, Spain. How did you like it? Did you take your Submariner to see the Isaac Peral submarine?

We LOVED Cartagena! It is such a beautiful city. However, we did not make it to the Isaac Peral submarine. Since we were on a cruise, we (unfortunately) only had one day at each port city.

My work takes me often to Lyon, France. I love the Cote d’Azur (French Riviera) plus Monaco, which is only 4 h train ride. I see that you and your friend enjoyed the area. Great photos

Frankly speaking I wouldn’t wear it out in public if you’re going to a nice restaurant perhaps slap it on after you’ve entered the venue . But out in the open, you’re attracting the wrong kind of attention. I was almost mugged even for just my low key explorer

Frankly speaking I wore Rolex watches in France (where I live), UK, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Italy and this, for 42 years now, almost everyday of my like since I was 18.

Never had a problem.

Would not show either of my 2 YG Rolex everywhere / every time though, hide them under my sleeve or wear a SS though.

Anyway ...

I see you were at Cathedral Santa Maria del Fiore in Firenze, did you stop by Officine Panerai San Giovanni?

Hi TBone,

I saw/walked by the Panerai store — unfortunately, my girlfriend did not want to go in (I dragged her kicking and screaming too many Rolex stores throughout Europe). In Firenze, there were too many fashion stores she wanted to visit

got it and same here.

My wife visited the boutique with me on two separate trips but the last few times I’ve gone on my own. It’s rich in history and the staff there are SO amazing, patient and welcoming.

The last few trips I just book a “watch day” and geek out on my own
