Magnetized OP39

I recently bought a preowned OP39 114300 that is about a year old. I noticed that it was running very fast, about +15-20 seconds per day so I thought it could have been magnetized. Turns out both the OP and Sub were magnetized per the Lepsi app. I bought a demagnetizer (the more expensive/powerful donut one, not the cheap blue one) and it seemed to do the trick for my Sub. No magnetism detected ok the Lepsi app, running +1 sec/day. However, the OP is still running just as fast as before. The app isn’t picking up on any magnetism on the watch case but it is detecting magnetism on the end links and the first link on both sides of the bracelet. I’ve tried running the bracelet through the demagnetizer multiple times but no luck.

Would magnetized end links cause the watch to run fast? If so, any other suggestions on how I can demagnetize the end links?

If it is stainless steel how can it be magnetized?

good point. I was relying on the Lepsi app so much I forgot that 904L steel is non-magnetic. I wonder if the watch itself is still magnetized then.
