5512/5513 hands on 1680? Fit or not?

I’ve gotten lot of mixed answers for this. There are tritium hands that are sold ”for 5512/5513/1680” but some are only ”5512/5513” and ”1680”. I asked one collector and said they will fit, but the seller told me 5512 second hand won’t fit 1680 movement. If so, how can there be sets that fit them all?

Ok, good to know. It’s just chrono-shop has sold these old tritium hands marked as ”fits 5512/5513/1680 cal 1520/1530/1570”. Would they be not gen?

The hour and minute hands are the same, the sweep hand has a different post for date/no-date models.

Robby, that one on the far right side looks like it is from a GMT 1675.

The 2 on the left are 5512 5513

The 1 in the middle is 1680 1665

The 2 on the right are 1675

That's the way it looks from here.

The 1680 1665 hand is VERY hard to source.

It's all in the sweep .....

Hi Arnold,

The hour and minute hands will swap between 5512/3, 1680, 1665 and 1675.

Like the fellas have noted, the sweeps differ among some of those references.

I have a couple of gen. 1680 hand sets here. PM me if interested
