HELP - Adjusting time - MIN/HR hands goes counterclockwise???
I just realized that, while adjusting the time my wife's 31mm Oyster Perpetual, the HR and MIN hands are going COUNTER CLOCKWISE when you are turning the crown CLOCKWISE?
Is this normal? I don't think I have seen any watch that does it. Does this concern any of you? If this is a real problem, will Rolex "fix" it? FYI: her 31mm is 6 years old. Thanks!!! |

Only woman's watches have this feature, maybe designed to work the way they think .

When setting my just serviced 1956 DJ the second hand will tick backwards, if i apply feint pressure on the crown the watch will hack, which is great for setting the correct time, RSC say this is fine.
Does your wife's watch do similar or do the hands whizz around like a cooling fan? |

Good point there Peter, but the reason why "men's" watches turn differently from the "lady's" is because there is more room to put one extra intermediate setting wheel. Because the smaller movements have only one setting wheel compared to the 2 in a 3130/35.

Men's Rolex is from Mars, Women's is from Venus!
