My new vintage
I just received my 1973 Wideboy 1603.
In doing my research, it looks as though wideboy was produced for a only a short time in the 70’s. I’d like to know more about the wideboy if you have any other info. Anyway, here it is with my blue 1986 16030. Thanks guys. |

Yes, very nice pair. I'm on the hunt for a wide boy myself.
Congrats. |

Great pair!! Both are absolutely lovely! The rawness of the engine turned bezel is really starting to grow on me!

Thank you everyone. It was important that the two DateJust were quite different from one another.

It appears the Wide Boy name was first coined only about eight years ago, by a collector in a post on the Omega forums.

I picked up a 1972 1601 Wide Boy with the regularly found silver dial. I adore it! As per the OP, does anyone know the years of production?

Btw, you’ve got the more unusual no-lume version.
