Which are you talking about? This thread is three years old.

After many months due to C19, Rolex shutting down because of it, and the general stopping of just about everything in the UK I have finally got my GMTMaster 1 back and my, does'nt it look smart.

Robert Reeve undertook the not un-daunting task of not only giving this vintage 1968 watch a thorough service, but in the process had to almost rebuild it from the ground up.

To say that I am pleased is an understatement.

However, having contacted one of the rcommended independent firms, they inform me that they no longer are able to service this particular vintage marque. My approach to the other firm mention has not resulted in a response as yet. Since I want to keep the patina of age of this particular watch, I am loth to send it to Rolex since I am informed that they hace a tendancy to 'improve'.
Can anyone recommend another independent approved Rolex servicer - UK based, that I can approach?
Contact Rocco at Watchworks Bristol
Fanatical independent Rolex approved servicer especially interested in vintage Rolex.
Great watch you have there👍

(One list I have puts it at 1960 - Another at 1966/67)
