Jewelers Mutual Dropped Me When I Added My New Root Beer GMT 2

No explanation no claims prior. So I went with Gem Safe. Cancelled all my JM policies and moved to GS, They had no issues at all and in fact the premium was less with them.

Weird. I just added a Root Beer and two other watches and it was a breeze to take care of. Did you have to go through additional underwriting?

Your zip code locale and a soft credit check might have triggered a flag when they added the risk and replacement values.

It happens with jewellery insurance, especially with 20% under employment.

They just asked for a valid appraisal I sent them that and the receipt from the AD. Then when I took the rest of my policies to G/S J/M sends me an email saying how sorry they are to see me leave. REALLY?

Any pros/cons between Jewelers Mutual and GemSafe, other than lack of coverage?

Yes following this comment. Differences between the two? I've got to pull the trigger on my insurance soon

Not to worry you, but maybe they found something fishy with the serial number when you registered it with them?
