Covid positive...

So I tested positive for Covid today. My brother started with symptoms Wednesday and I saw him on Mon-Tues.

My first symptom is pink eye that started yesterday morning. He has had the more typical symptoms of low grade fever, fatigue and slight sore throat.

Hoping my wife and 2 yr old son don’t get it since they were also exposed to him Mon-Tues and to me the other days.

I decided to leave my house and quarantine with my brother for the time being. Tough decision to leave the family behind, but it’s the only way I can be totally certain I don’t give it to them now.

Wish us all luck... I can only compare it to anticipating a hurricane and waiting for the advisories to see where this takes us.

On a lighter note I brought along my modded Seiko and left the others at homes. It’ll help me pass the time... literally.

Praying for your quick and complete recovery, I have known a couple people that had it, some right on this forum as a matter of fact, thank GOD the worst case of the people I have known is just feeling like crap for a few days. I want to visit my 86 year old mother next week so just got tested myself, no symptoms. If it’s positive, I’ll come stay with you and your brother; you guys like to play Canasta?

Covid can spread through any of the mucus membranes on the face (eyes, nose, mouth). The eyes are the least common, but first signs are usually pink eye.

OP, you got this, hang in there!

Stay safe! Heard recently that there are 6 or so different variations of covid now. Most od them become less dangerous. Let it ne your case!

Thank you all for the well wishes. Just hoping for the best and it’s a lil strange since I am literally trailing my brother since he’s a few days ahead of me.

Just so nervous for my wife and lil guy.

I’ll keep the thread updated with my daily progress.

That’s nuts.

Heal up, OP. Hope the rest of the fam avoided it. Another co-worker’s daughter tested positive and was ill for a number of days. Luckily no one else in their fam tested positive.

I hope you recover from this without too much drama. BTW, that modded Seiko is sweet! Great choice to weather your storm.

Good luck and keep us posted.
