I agree with Patekaddict that flipping a hot watch can get an AD in to trouble. An AD in Bond street told to me that they had sold 5 Pateks including 3 Nautilus to a customer thinking he was a genuine watch enthusiast within a short time period. The customer had flipped all 3 Nautilus and they had to answer to the UK distributor.

Not in the UK, certificate either arrives preprinted or the AD fills it out on the spot when collecting.

Not my experience, only purchased 1 used Patek but have looked at quite a few, all that were with UK papers still had the first owners name and address.

I have been known to buy 1 or 2 and they all came with the original.pwners name. The address they dont fill on always and that's to protect privacy I guess

To answer the initial question: I am relatively new customer with my Patek AD in Switzerland and don’t know how long it will take but I was placed on the list for it. To be honest, I expect years and that is ok. I am not in a rush.

Thank you everyone for your compliments. The bracelet is the same as others and wears comfortable. The dial is the exact blue as 5711 and 5712.

Beautiful picture - excited to pick mine up next week. Agree as well, I put it next to a 5711 blue as well as a 5712 and although the one I saw at the Patek event in Singapore looked different, it is clearly the same blue as the others. The clasp is also the same construction (links are thicker and larger though).

Will "erasing" of owner's name constitute tampering of the original Cert? My AD will not sell a Patek without the naming of the owner. Always strictly enforced that rule.
