Thanks for the photo advice -- today's attempts!

So for today, we incorporated everyone's input from yesterday, and pulled out the 114060 to sit in the limelight...

Looks much nicer. The mirror underneath I think is much much better because the effects are subtle. I didn't notice it until the third pic in your second post (which is a good thing because it made me go back to the others to take a second look)

The one I like best is the third pic in your first post.

Still a bit of room for improvement though, play around with the lighting in the room (there is too much of it which is why you are getting the glare off the crystal) and you can also play around with focus point on the watch to see what effect you like best with depth of field changes
