Recently purchased Date model
I have recently purchased a 34mm Date model (115200) with silver dial. The watch came with the correct box and papers, except that the instruction book is labelled Datejust and not Date as I would have expected. Any have the same model and book marked Date?

Talk to your Dealer, they are the ones who match up the booklets to the watch..

Sorry, should have stated in the original post that it was a used model. The AD is in the UAE and I'm in the UK. It's original date of purchase is 8th December 2014, so it's just over two months old. I was hoping that any other member with the same model could check what it states on the front of their green book for me. I have never seen a Date book for sale on eBay and I forgot to ask my local AD (Michael Spiers of Exeter) when I showed to him last weekend if he thought that the original AD simply mixed up the books or do Rolex just send out a Datejust book with the Date models to keep down printing costs. Can't believe that a Date book doesn't exist.
The watch is 100% genuine, appraised by local AD, correct box and card, watch still has original plastic protection on the strap, buckle and side of the case, the laser etched crown can be seen (takes time to find the right angle and light, but it's there alright) and watch winds like a Rolex should. I'm fairly happy with the watch with some reservations about the size - 34mm and the dial colour - silver. It's very understated, but I'm more drawn to the larger models in black. I wear an Omega Seamaster 300 for work as I'm around water all day, but this particular watch was bought as an investment (paid £1k less than MRSP) and a dress watch. |

I still think Larry's advice is best. A visit to a local UK AD might yield the best answer as to what booklet they have for their new Date models.

Thanks, anyone know of a local (Devon or Cornwall) dealer who has such a model in stock?
