5164 is def the collector's choice esp if Tiffany signed. I believe Thierry Stern has often been seen wearing one as well.

I prefer the thickness and the dial on the 5164.

Just to echo the sentiment. I think if you can go 5164 you should and for a few reasons
1. The case is thicker, but not too thick. It adds presence to the watch but still remains under the radar 2. The travel time complication is fantastic 3. It is waterproof I enjoy my 5164 very much, I travel with it all the time. Go for it! |

5164...trying it on was enough to tempt me back to the world of smaller (but not too small!) watches. I haven’t pulled the trigger on one yet, but it’s high on my target list

Get the 5164. I’ve had them all - 5167, 5164, 5711, 5712. Of them all I still have the 5164 and 5711. I wear the 5164 most.

I had a 5712r vs a 5711/1a. I much preferred the bracelet and symmetrical dial of the 5711. I also have a large collection so it was irritating to have to reset the moonphase function and I don’t use winders. Having said that the quality and finish of the 5712 is excellent. It is a very handsome piece and the micro rotor is amazing. However when I balanced my dislikes against the cost/value, the 5711/1a made more sense. Of course this looming price increase on March 1st makes me question the wisdom of a $30k+ steel watch.

For me it would between the 57R and 5164 in steel. That's a tough one.

travel time is great, but i still hardly ever use it. Without a travel time, and just with the rest of the specs being there, I would still get a 64 vs a 67.
Dial layout and thickness are the aesthetic draws for me. The travel time is a bonus. |

I grabbed a 5167 instead because one week later my 5711 was arriving for pickup. I really wanted a 5164 but at the time funds could not stretch and 5167 next best thing!!!! 5164 is really appealing to me as I travel a fair bit and it would complement my 5711 better!!! My mission for 2018!! |

I really like the 5167. it fits my wrist better and has a clean face. I may try upgrading to the 5164 one day.

5164 at any time if price difference is not an issue. So much richer dial, and Patek is all about complications

I wanted a 5167 also but the AD said may not get for months, but called me today and he just got a 5164 so I bought it. Should have it next week. Fingers crossed I like it.

you won't regret it. Im sure after having the 64 and if a 67 comes in later you will probably pass on it.

I'll echo others and say you lucky dog! But funny that a few years ago the reverse would have been true, with the 67 more prized and the 64 too pricey.
