Please Help Authenticate 1603

Hello TRF,

The following watch has been my first Rolex purchase. I bought it off eBay and it arrived yesterday. First thing this morning I took it by my local AD and he didn't have very good feedback. He said the buckle, bracelet and dial are all suspicious. He offered to send it in to the RSC but I declined since I may need to return it within 3 days to avoid a 10% return fee from the seller.

I'm posting to ask the help of this forum; what do you all think?

Clasp and bracelet looks good to me but it's worn and stretched and dial looks genuine.

This is a problem with ADs... often times they are not familiar with anything they have not or do not sell. This is not the case with every AD of course, but I always recommend having the watch inspected by a watchmaker, not a sales rep...

The band is genuine. It is a 60s USA Rolex O-link braceletl I had one for sale on the forums until earlier today! The dial looks fine; round lumens, crisp printing, and period correct hour markers. Without looking at the case inscriptions and movement, I would say it is genuine.

hnltime is a seller on this forum under the same handle and has great reviews here, as well as on eBay. Besides the stretch in the band (which is expected for a watch of this vintage), everything looks good with this watch.
