VPC Watches
Anyone here order one?
Its Thomas Van Straaten from Fratellos idea. I just discovered it yesterday and I ordered one today (not something I really do) I just liked the look of it and figured what the heck. Am I the only one? I was really debating the blue dial but ended up ordering the silver/gray I really am not in the Micro Brand thing but I just liked this one! It's not really a LE but there are 300 for sale (100 of each dial) but if there is the demand he will make another run most likely. The first 300 will all be numbered

I really like them and am considering placing an order. I miss having a manual wind watch in my collection.

I do not love the idea of a screw down crown on a manual watch but it doesn't bother me enough to stop me from ordering one. I don't plan on this being a daily watch so its not a big deal but if it was my only watch Id probably get annoyed by it

I ordered the blue in the end. The more I read about the process the more I thought how my own philosophy aligns with Thomas’ such as the case finishing being of utmost importance and the anti-scratch coating that he has gone to great pains to have included. I think this will be a remarkable watch and I just hope he has enough orders to make the production happen.
