New to the Rolex/Watch community!

hello my name is Kevin Leo I am originally from New Jersey and currently live in Florida.

I've grown up around family and friends who all had Rolex watches I'll be completely honest with you I am not sure how or why everyone around me has them but it definitely started off has being an investment which is why so many people around me have them (some people buy them and hide them for years and years to lock away their money not to spend any foolishly others buy to wear etc.)

I became somewhat of a Rolex lover at an early age my dad got me my first Rolex at my 10th birthday it was a solid gold Yacht-Master but way smaller then 40 mm I believe it was 37 mm maybe smaller)

after I got older when I turned 16 I upgraded it to the 40 mm solid gold Yacht-Master to better fit my wrist because the original one looked very tiny and I'm definitely on the bigger side

this year after saving up enough money I traded in my Yacht-Master for a Yacht-Master II and I couldn't be happier (I even made a YouTube review for it but it won't let me put a link until 10 post so I'll probably update this eventually to include the link)

I can't wait to see and read about rolexes on this form and hope that I could be a part of this community!

Starting young is good, gives you more years to enjoy the fine craftsmanship of a Rolex
