My wife would like to add that I'm married to my watches, but live with her.

I can remember the dates of purchase, and the weather conditions at the exact moment I put the watch on...........I can't remember her birthday, anniversary, or how long we have been dating.

I can close my eyes, and tell you minute details about my watch.........I never order her food correctly, and have the wrong condiment combination every time......

I wash my watches per TRF guidlines, but can't correctly load a dishwasher.

I need serious help!

Do what I do... tell yourself that this is normal behavior. It is everyone else that is abnormal.

I have one sodding evening away from the board & this blows up.

& after reading through all twelve pages I'm simply gutted.

Obviously I'm gutted for Dalip & Alison: but also for me, for you, & for all of us.

I've met Dalip.

In the wild.

In real life.

Not just here on-line in cyber space but up close & personal & in full blown flat-screen HD technicolour.

We hit it off.

We share the same family values.

We share the same sense of humour.

FFS I think we may've even shared the same urinal at one point.

!!!!!

Now I like to think of myself as a pretty 'clued up guy' & ok ok I'm no saint but maybe because of that I like to think that I'm a pretty good judge of character.......
& I can honestly say with 10,001% complete & utter certainty that Dalip is no fool.

And yet Dalip (& so many others of us on here) fell hook, line & sinker for.......

well I don't quite know "what" exactly it was that we all fell for.

Was this an attempted 'dual target scam'....??

Does Tristan suffer from delusions of grandeur or an over-enthusiastic ego perhaps......??

Or maybe he's just a good old fashioned BS'er....??

Whatever it was I'm gutted that Dalip 'lost out'.

I'm gutted that Tristan isn't who I thought he was.
(& Tristan if you're reading this believe me I really really believed [in] & defended you....)

& I'm gutted that TRF isn't the 'safe haven home away from home' kinda place that I had previously..... & evidently naively.... thought it was.

I'm not gonna jump on any bandwagon & start giving it "Well I never liked the guy" or "I always knew he was a POS" because I did like the guy & I did believe (in) him.

But the evidence now appears overwhelming.

And it's another sad day for TRF in my opinion.

I'd think that boards don't want their dirty laundry shared on other boards.

Astute observation I think, Cece. Best to show deference all around.

I think there are some positives to take out of this experience and it is time to move on.

There's no point going over and over what is now clear......
