I could no longer resist the DJ36 (INCOMING)

A couple of days ago I reluctantly tried on a DJ36 for the first time. To my surprise, I loved the way it looked on the wrist and how it wore. I've been daydreaming about it ever since.

Today I went to a local AD, intent on buying the 116234 with silver dial, mainly for the fluted bezel. But for whatever reason, the smooth bezel really sang to me today, so here's the newest member of the family -- a 116200 with silver dial.

The sunburst dial is really stunning in the flesh, and the watch fits and wears perfectly. I wish I'd come around to really appreciate the classic DJ36 sooner.

Beautiful, rugged, and refined. With the oyster bracelet and smooth bezel, kind of an ExplorerJust. I really like it.

Love my DJ36 with a blue dial and smooth bezel. Gets more wrist time than any other watch I own!

Looks great on you!

Excellent choice sir. I consider the DJ design 'Timeless'. Like it so much, well see the picture. Super Jubilee (proper name Solid Link Bracelet) and fluted bez are my preference, but there's room in this world for both.

Wear it in good health

Congrats on the new watch. Just curious did you try on the new DJ41? It’s actually 39.5 and I think with your wrist size it would look great on your wrist also. I used to own a DJ41 but flipped it for a DJll because I wanted a little larger watch.

The 36 mm DJ is my favorite .. I love the TT's with jubilee bracelet and fluted, but the SS with smooth bezel and oyster bracelet looks awesome and adds a sportier element to it. Enjoy and wear it in great health.
