I agree Tony and was not an attack at you as I also believe the OP is out on a bike ride.

If the watch is genuine, then there's a little over $3,000 in gold there!

If the watch is genuine and in good shape, I'd guess you can get anywhere from $6,000 - $8,000 for it. But I am no expert, and your mileage may vary.

So I guess it depends on how much that car costs.

Wind it up and wear it. See how it feels and if it's keeping good time. If so, I'd keep it (after asking daddy).

anyway, sirs, im really thankful for the help. nonetheless, if dad has a rolex like what you have yours. i think he knows this watch for a fact, and a missing rolex watch, on my watch is really scary..

i mean cmon, judging by you guys, able to analize it by pictures, is like something unique. and my dad wouldnt buy this watch just so to wear it.

Fake, sorry to disappoint you

The fonts are wrong, the serial should be positioned a bit upper, and did you see the number 8? And the blue rusty oxidation between lugs?

Sorry

P.S. I can be wrong, but as I can think, it's a fake, unless a nice movement's shot can confirm the watch is a real one.

Can you post a picture of your dads Poker Face once you give him the watch and assure him it is a fake..
He was probably saving it for you as a prank..

He was probably snickering when he told him to clear out the safe.

This just gave me an idea...
