Advice needed - AP 26315ST + Rolex 126610LV for PP 5170
Would you make this trade for a used PP 5710 (black dial)?
AP 26315ST (38mm blue sub-dial) Rolex 126610LV + Cash Both AP and Rolex are BNIB.

From a $ value perspective, no.
From a watch-that-I'd-rather-have perspective, yes. |

I would, yes. I think you'd be getting a more refined and superior watch. I have an LV and would use it towards a piece like the 5170

Agreed with what everyone says. I don't mind parting with the LV, it's the AP that I'm thinking twice about. The 5170 is definitely a superior watch in every way but I'd be losing money on the AP for the trade, AND having to put in additional cash.

If your getting the platinum 1000000% regardless how much cash on top
If black, that’s really pretty too but so is the 38 white blue AP |

Hahaha...Not getting the platinum for sure. The cash on top is around $6K so from the $ perspective like everyone said, it's def a bad deal.

You’ll probably regret letting go of that particularly AP. I wouldn’t do it. The 5170 is objectively a “better” watch, but if you enjoy wearing Royal Oaks, you’ll end up lusting after one again after trading your only AP (unless you have others) for a dress watch.

Hard to say, completely different watches...
Personally - heck no! You have two all time greats for a very respectable dress watch but I'd get 5x the wear |

I'd be holding onto the 26315

Not a chance. There’s so much versatility in the ROC and LV compared to just a dress PP chrono. But maybe there’s a reason why it’s BNIB… you don’t wear them?
But hey it’s your wrist and your money |
