126710BLRO Two Versions?
Just curious if anyone else has seen this? Has Rolex actually heard peoples complaints and refined the color of the ceramic bezel insert?
Eric Ku posted this on his Instagram captioned "Per the precious conversation here is an early Pepsi and a later one. (Early is on bottom). You can clearly see the color difference" Can we get some owners to post up pictures and when they received there watch and see if we can tell any difference? |

126710BLRO Two Versions?
That’s what I originally thought and am still not writing off, but I doubt someone like him would post that up without considering that first. *Edit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Nice to see the rumor finally confirmed by a trustworthy source. Here’s mine - I actually prefer the pastel blue and red over the new MK2.
The new version has a true navy blue and garnet red, can’t go wrong with either. |

Bottom watch is reflecting a white object. You can see it in the reflection going from the 6 to 9 marker.

Yes, but you can still see the color in the parts that are not reflecting.

I went to an AD in Belgium and they did mention the first few BLRO they got had different shade compared to the latter ones they got. Side by side comparison was drastic, didn't see it in person. But I believe them. The picture posted above wouldn't have that much of a lighting difference due to the angle. I think Rolex did fix it.

Could be, I’ve only handled one in person so I can’t comment. |

This is the third or fourth thread on this topic. At this point, enough people have claimed to hold both versions simultaneously that it’s undoubtedly true. Someone like Eric Ku is not going to be fooled by lighting and angle.

So if this is true, which version would be more valuable, the first version since less have been made?

I just actually finished watching insta vids in anticipation of mine being delivered.
In one of the vids it shows the watch showing BOTH colours when he angles the watch into the sunlight. I think there are two variations but both still display that pastel colour in the sunlight |

I’ll take Eric’s word for it. Mine looked like both depending on lighting.

Check the posts by LVC and BLNR owners saying how the bezel changes depending on the light. Same.

Have you handled an early and late production version in person and personally confirmed it’s just the light making them appear different ? |

If it’s true, definitely like the newer darker richer colors.

Fake news... I absolutely believe someone like him would post up a doubt just to get views and spark discussion, a discussion that's a non starter. I could do the same thing with two D-Blue dials with a 2° angle difference and claim "Rolex changed the blue dial? Looks like it"...
Social media is making us dumb. I have no doubt that someone could reenact a war of worlds alien invasion just using twitter and Instagram and people would go nuts for a fake alien invasion. Probably another hidden justification to charge more on the secondary market. These guys are influencers and if they "pee" people wonder why and how. |

Can’t he just take a photo of both the watches lying side by side, with a simple photo taken from above? I feel that would clear a lot of ambiguity. Would like to see this.

If an early so called “mk1” bezel owner wants to meet up with me here in NY I’ll take professionally lit, perfectly even studio photos of the two side by side! Just let me know. Or of course you could just give me your watch if you’d prefer Lol.

It’s the angle of the watch I can attest to it. I’ve tried to take photos of my BLRO so many times and the shots look purple but in person it’s dark blue. There is only one version period

It could be completely bogus. It could be different batches have different colors. It could be Rolex has been trying to improve the color since its release and this is the next shade in the process. |
