First bezel scratch on 2 week old milgauss

Grazed my milgauss on my computer desk today. Lug and bezel took a hit! Gonna be hard to get used to this Polished life! *facepalm*

That’s what I get for sneaking around with it on my wrist when my fiancé told me to wait till my birthday. Karma

Photos of polished watch scratches to ease the pain will be accepted

A bastard file will fix that in a jiffy.

Must say the bezel on my GV is a scatch waiting to happen.

It is covered in scratches. Just means you are using it as it should be used.

Cool. You got the first scratch out of the way before your birthday.

Helpful hint

You need Rough 80 grit sandpaper
Rub the watch all over with the sandpaper and you won't see that scratch anymore

Always glad to help

The Milgauss was designed to get the most hairlines of any modern Rolex.

It deserves a medal.

I was telling a story and while using my hands, hit a glass divider with my OP39 and knocked the bezel 2 o'clock along with the lug. I feel your pain but I wouldn't fret - things like that happen.

That sucks. But a watch that is worn gets scratched. Hey, if I'm full of scratches myself, it's only natural the watches follow suit.

My dad had a Rolex with a smooth gold bezel, man, was that ever covered with scratches, being softer.

I swear, those polished bezels are scratch magnets! I wouldn't worry too much about it, my Air-King has accumulated a couple of scratches on the bezel and I just stopped worry about it trying to be perfect.

I completely agree with everyone though, the first one did hurt!

Yup, I wear my DJ41 (smooth bezel) sparingly and it's scratched up pretty good already.
Oh well

Now the watch is “yours”

Anybody can own a perfect, pristine Milgauss but how many have one with your bezel scratch ? Great watch and should be worn and subjected to living life, like you. Bet you have a few “scratches “
