Here's a pic of my watch. Please excuse the bad quality image. I don't know how you guys do it but this is why I have not posted an image before. -Teton

That's not a bad picture, but you're right, some of these guys really can photograph watches. I, like you, haven't tried.

First, my watch is a 16610 D, so I think everyone kind of knows what they look like (fabulous, but mine's not more fabulous than the next one).

Second, my wrist is pretty standard issue 43 year-old male wrist, perhaps a tad less hursuit than some, but otherwise unremarkable. Hard to justify photographing it.

All that said, your watch is a classic. What's the paper it's sitting on? It's right for the shot but the feature shapes look like Mont Blanc logos...kind of.

Lovely! Really like the look. That watch will go great with anything.

I feel ya Man on the watch picture taking. I suck badly at taking pictures. Forgot anything I learned in my 8th grade photography class.

Nice model Teton. I like the Roman numerals in the outer dial ring.

Looks like you used auto flash on this shot?

Use a tripod and no flash. If you haven't a 'light box' use outside light. Best is when it's overcast. Oh and use a black or navy colored non-reflective cloth will make this model stand out a bit more.

Nice looking watch, Teton.

I'd be happy if my camera would take pix as good as that one.

I like it!

My SS Datejust has the very same dial with the outer roman numerals, but has a smooth bezel.

I like that DJ classic. If only DJ's came in 40mm, I would get one. BTW, the oyster band looks good with your DJ.
