Hello from London - Stolen Rolex

Hi everyone,

Logging into this forum for the first time, sadly with bad news.

My Rolex was stolen in London, UK, on the 17th of February, 2024, details below:

Serial Number: 441H8899
Model reference: M214270

I am not very familiar with the procedure here, but can confirm it is logged on the stolen Rolex database, and I have filed an official report with the Metropolitan Police.

For everyone's safety, I will simply mention that you should choose your cleaner wisely. I booked the suspect through a fairly reputable agency, and she appears to have been a rogue agent. I will not post her name here for the moment as the investigation is ongoing.

With that said, I will you all a safe watch journey.

Best,
Calpal

Welcome to the forum, I wish it were under better circumstances.

I hope you recover the watch by some miracle. Where you insured?

Hello to both of you, and thanks for the welcome.

Sadly the watch was not insured, and my home insurance will not cover it until or unless I can provide evidence of wrongdoing.

For now, I will be wearing my Hamilton Field Watch H69439931 and saving for the next one!

What were the theft circumstances so others know to avoid a like situation. I’m sorry this happened to you, please report it to a Rolex Authorized Dealer so it gets logged as stolen.
