What do you guys think of this aftermarket bracelet.

I always wanted a steel braclet for my Pam but I was not going to pay $3000+ only on a steel bracelet. So one day surfing the web I bought this aftermarket steel bracelet that fit perfectly for my Pam.

I presonally think it looks great. Now what do you guys think.

To be honest...

I do not like the look. The bracelet overtakes the look of the watch. I was more focused on the bracelet than the watch.

I am glad you are happy with the look...isn't that all that matters?

Actually I kind of agree but on the other hand I like the way it looks and seems to fit flush. I wonder if it would look different with a less busy dialed PAM?

Kind of blingy for my tastes (reminds me of Breitling bracelets), but if you're happy with it then nothing else matters! Enjoy!!

Thanks sleddog.

The bracelet is pretty heavy and definetly feels good on the wrist. For a $175price point the quality is very good. It fit very well on the lugs. I'm just a little afraid to open it, I hope that there will not be too many scratches on the watch itself. I think that it will have minor scratches on it but nothing major. I will update all of you again when I take the bracelet out in a few days.

Just my opinion, but NO GOOD. Aftermarket steel bracelets are not acceptable. However, aftermarket leather ones are for some reason VERY acceptable.

While I'm not crazy about the look, the fit seems very good. While many seem to really favor the thick straps, I prefer thinner straps on my Pams than the OEM's. They are much more comfortable to me. I just got a custum gator strap from Deluca that is just a couple mm thick, much the same as an OEM strap for a deployant buckle. I guess that's why this thick braclet doesn't sing to me. But hey, it's your watch and if it sings to you, that's all that matters.
Enjoy and wear in good health.

The fit seems good, but the look is pretty overwhelming imo. A bit too much.

Panerai Steel Bracelet for Pam 188

Hello All!

I hope all is well.

does anyone has pictures of how the PAM 188 looks with a steel bracelet?

Also, can someone suggest the best place to buy a new, original, Panerai steel bracelet?

Thank you in advance!!!

Andrew

The whole allure of the PAM for me is the leather but that's me I even take the bracelets off all my Rolex watches.

Best place to buy a steel bracelet is at the AD. You might get more responses in the future if you start your own thread vs resurrecting a 4yo one.
