older Oyster Bracelet tightness / condition
Yet another fond lover of 4/5 digit Rolexes here. I bought a mint condition OP Date recently and have some questions about the bracelet.
The hinges of the clasp is so tight that it concerns me. There's so much resistance on it. I've never seen a pre-owned bracelet in this condition. I've attached some pictures to illustrate. Is this normal at all? or did I just hit the 'mint condition' jackpot? Also, do all 78350 bracelets not pivot fully (90 degree angle) at the endlink? (again, attached some pics to illustrate) Feedback appreciated! |

I recently bought a 10+ year old SS sub and the hinge part is the same as your watch. The previous owner told me that he only wore the watch about 25 times in the last 10 years, and the sub was indeed in a pristine condition. I think your watch was just very rarely worn or I should say you hit the "mint jackpot"!
