Surprised that the new Subs are already hitting ADs...
...before the new Oyster Perpetuals. The main AD that I frequent received two of them and were sold soon after. As of today they have not received a single Oyster Perpetual in either 36 or 41mm. Another dealer I phoned has the new Submariner but is not for sale; only for people visiting to try out, and I've never heard of that before. They also have received no Oyster Perpetuals so far. The third dealer who I've visited multiple times I did not ask if they received any Submariners, but with the other two having received them in the past I can only assume they have as well; only Oyster Perpetual they got was a yellow 41mm which already found a home.
Just wondering if any Authorized Dealers in your area have also encountered this, receiving the highly desired Subs before the Oyster Perpetuals. I'm not in the market for any Submariner and have my name down for a 126000, hopefully don't have to wait that long. |

My Rolex Boutique already got all new releases 2 weeks ago.
I went to the new releases event at the boutique and came home with 2 new Sub. (126610LN & 126610LV). |

Very nice. But I guess they didn't stay together in the case for long, if not at all. In addition to the three ADs I mentioned I also called two more and they pretty much said the same thing, the watches will start rolling in by October/early November. Looking forward to seeing what it looks like in person.

My AD was told they are getting one of each OP this week or next week. It wasn’t in the Friday shipment so looks like next week.

Covid delayed the release by a few months so the Subs are all good to go.

It's just so crazy after multiple years of not being able to find a sport watch in any D.C. area AD for years. It's been quite a dry spell. Couldn't even find a place to try one on.

Why are you surprised? Remember the original planned release date was several months ago at Basel.

Pragnells
Hi All,
First time posting on the forum and I’m enjoy the content. Had a result today on the news range of OP’s. Rang around the country looking for an OP 28 with a silver dial for the Mrs mums 60th birthday. With little luck I ended speaking to James at Pragnells Mayfair who was extremely helpful and managed to source the watch from their Stratford-Upon-Avon branch. Deposit made and will be collecting tomorrow. Guess there’s still some hope |

I don't think that is a typical experience, but I wish it was

My AD has already had and sold both Subs and OP41’s. They are getting some in each shipment. I asked for an OP last week, hope to have it soon.

If after October passes and they still haven't received anything, that would be ridiculous. |

My AD has received a number of OP41’s but only one or two new subs. I actually picked up a silver OP41 as I quite liked it in person.
Guess it’s all luck of the draw for each AD? |

Subs and OPs in Australia. No sign of a new Skydweller on anyone wrist yet - just the dummy models at VIP events.

Looks like it so far. Some folks on this forum mentioned that ADs get shipments weekly, so eventually the watch I want (126000) will show up, and I'm at the top of the list I was told. Just a matter of being patient now.

I heard Australia and the UK are notorious for the lack of professional models in the last two years. But what new Oyster Perpetuals have you seen so far?

Surprised that the new Subs are already hitting ADs...
Well the delay of the launch of the new 2020 models caused by Covid-19 gave Rolex about 6 extra months to create inventory, which is now flowing through some AD’s. Think the incoming threads will soon go down to pre-launch levels as the inventory level goes down (since don’t think Rolex actually bumped up production capacity during the early Covid-19 pandemia crisis)

I’m pretty sure like most the world, Rolex actually shut down its production during a period of the CV19

These watches were all set to go with their release announcement expected back in March during Baselworld. What's the surprise?/
