Rolex might be a performance enhancing drug

AD called me yesterday to let me know my next piece was in.

I go for a run 3 times per week. My course record is 48 minutes. Its a very hilly course and sometimes I don't finish because I've run out of energy.

Yesterday I ran the course in 45 minutes!

Crazy!

I was so amped up about getting the new watch.

I started a thread called ‘Rolex and Endorphins’ not long ago.

Same thought process. BTW most posters disagreed.

I think there’s something to it.

Hahaha that’s funny. Next time my AD will call me I’ll put an eye on my morning ride and see if there will be any performance gains :-)

I agree. I wear watches (not just rolex) especially newly arrived ones in endorphin-producing activities.

Only Porsche does it better. They organise a track day. One guy arrives with the latest model. At least 20% will place an order before the end of the day. Easy.
NB I am not remotely on the market for one.

The older I get the faster I was Neef.

Having said that two years ago (At 70] at a track day after the Superbikes I did touch 150 mph (on my GPS) down the main straight at Phillip Island on a rented BMW 1000RR.

Well to be honest it was 12 days before my seventieth birthday.

Don’t laugh I have had the leathers for twenty+ years.

Nice DJ!

Question: If some days you don't finish the course how do you get home?

Ha!
I always get home. The end of my course is nearly 45 degrees uphill and sometimes I stop my timer and walk the last bit.
