Hi, another newbie here
I just bought my first Rolex a few weeks ago, and have been looking at various forums. I've been here before, but just signed up today :)
My new (to me) Rolex is a barely worn SS/PT Yachtmaster, and I love it. I also have a Sinn 144 GMT Cargo, a Ventura v-matic, and old quartz TAG and a few Russian watches from the '80s. Now that I have the YM, I don't know if I'll ever wear the other watches again. I can see myself keeping the Russians, as they were cheap and unusual, but I think the Sinn and Ventura will be going. Anyhow, nice to be here and thanks for all the great Rolex info. Dave. |

Welcome to TRF, Dave. Glad you found your way over to our merry madhouse.
You got yourself a beauty there in the YM. It is one gorgeous watch. It's no wonder you don't want to take it off. But don't flip the others. There will be days (few and far between as they may be) that you just want to do something different - walk on the wild side and strap on that Sinn. Trust me. Been there, done that.

Hi guys, thanks for the warm welcome!
Ok, let me see if I can post pics. Being a guy, I glanced at the instructions, but as there is no female near by to make me actually read them fully, I'm winging it. The Tag, circa 1993: The Ventura v-matic, purchased in 1998: The Sinn 144 GMT Cargo, purchased in 2005: And the YM, purchased a few weeks ago: |

That's a beautiful collection, Dave. It it were me, I'd keep them all. That Sinn is particularly nice (after the YM, of course).
