Hello, my name is Tom, just thought I'd say hello and let you guys know that I've learned a lot from reading all the threads in here. I picked up my frist SS/Gold Submariner last year and I'm hooked. the addiction is almost worse than smoking. Sorry I don't have a good digital camera or I would post a picture of it. I'm starting to look at a Sea Dweller now or a GMT II.

You are learning quickly about this addiction. I feel for you because there is no known cure. It was much easier to give up smoking than it is to stop this watch addiction. So stick around and comisserate with all the other junkies here.

It's a black one Submariner, black face, gold bezel, I liked it better than the blue one for some reason. it skind of grew on me as I was actually looking for a Stainless Sub with date, then the gold one caught my eye.......and the rest is history.

I almost made the same switch on the subs. Went in for the SS, the TT caught my eye, then the blue one, then the Blue YM , even the TT Daytona.
My head was spinning.
BUT, I stuck to the original plan. SS Sub with the Date. The rest will come in due course.
