Anyone got a BB58 and 4 or 5 digit sub to compare?

Hi

Got my BB58 Blue and absolutely love it. Had a seadweller and an explorer, explorer 2 polar and a DSSD and I must admit this just is amazing. Gorgeous colours, and the size is perfect. All obviously subjective. I have been through the Rolex urge and got past that and feel I can look at the watches totally subjectively for what they are.

Was wondering how close this case is to a 4 or 5 digit sub? I have also had a vintage Tudor sub. I suspect there is a lot of DNA in this but interested to see them actually side by side for comparison. Anyone got both? Would love to see your pics.

In my opinion it wears in-between my 16600 and the ceramic sub. Gmt there wears smallest.

Thanks guys. Scarily similar lug profile. I take it the SEL oyster bracelet doesn’t fit the BB58?

Hi OP; the BB58 Navy looks amazing. How do you find the fit of the bracelet?

Not a perfect comparison but here's a BB58 and 5513. As you can see the 5513 has a lower case profile but the bezel is slightly thicker/taller. They feel pretty much the same to me when wearing them.

Agreed. I have a 5513 and had a BB58. I found the two watches were so similar on the wrist that I have since sold my BB58. Not sure if anyone else has experienced this but I found the BB58 bracelet pinched my wrist hair... I do regret selling my BB58 but added an exp I to the collection instead.

Just curious, why do you think the GMT wears smaller?

The BB58 is a beautiful watch and I would have one but I just can't get over those faux rivets on the bracelet. Like why?

It’s a flatter and lighter watch with three old style gmt bracelet and clasp so the physical weight is lighter. Guess it is also not a dive watch so does not need yo heft as the bb58.
