Hi , thank you for the advice and well wishes but I’ve already tried that method and it’s still not perfect for me. Maybe I’m just too used to the adjustable bracelet on my sub.

I found a fit that works but absolutely miss the EasyLink. If you have extra funds, this fellow forum member prlwatch created a Custom Rolex Bracelet with GlideLock working on his BB58.

Recipe: Rolex 93150 bracelet with end links from the BB58 bracelet. Finally swapped in a glidelock clasp from a Rolex 97200 bracelet.

I had the same issue but it was not just price but also the fact that every 14060 or 16570 I saw had been polished badly.

As a result a bought the BB58 and I love it.

Although I do own a 16610 I bought new old stock so that may have helped my choice.

The BB58 is fantastic but it is not a Rolex. If you want a Rolex buy one.

Hi everyone,
Just to let you all know that mine BB58 keeps time with an amazing accuracy.
In 65 days (since the last time I wounded it) it is ahead 18 seconds!
0,28 seconds per day average.

Yep........from Vanguard and highly recommended. Rubber B and Everest don't yet have them in production.

I have had mine since August 2018. My wife bought me the watch with the bracelet but as I wear it every day I prefer the Erika's style strap that is in my pic, really comfortably.
I don't know if I have been lucky but the watch keeps amazing time as I changed it at the end October for the UK daylight saving and it has only gained 4 seconds. I don't sleep with it on but leave it face up. It is a great watch imo.

I've been coming back around to the idea of adding one of these. Had written it off after adding my Sub but I've never lost the itch for a strap monster diver. Nato, rubber, canvas, leather, whatever...this thing kills. I'd honestly probably just buy the leather strap version as I really have no need for another sports watch on a bracelet.

It’s a great watch but I just can’t get past the fact that it’s not a Rolex. I’ve owned mine for two months and pretty sure I’m be putting mine up for sale for under retail to help fund another Rolex.

Yeah, I sold mine for th same reason and replaced it with a 114060 as my daily.

I do miss it though, mainly because it wasn't a Rolex yet still so damn good.

I am definitely still in the honeymoon period with my 58. A couple of weeks ago was the first opportunity I have had to get out my DSLR and a lens to take some pictures of the watch. A few quick observations:

1. It is a fantastically photogenic watch (in my view). The dial and hands look very different depending on the angle and the light - especially direct sunlight - ranging form chocolate brown to gun metal black and almost speckled grey.

2. The lack of AR was quite apparent in some shots (I have left a couple of examples in below). I never find this hurts legibility but in direct light I had to work quite hard to find a good angle to avoid obvious reflections.

3. It is no Grand Seiko but the watch holds up really well under macro - it has made me love the watch more. The bezel particularly has a great texture and the gold indices are a joy to view under magnification.

4. I need to learn more about watch photography composition!

Really fancy one of these, not actually seen one in person yet though. Went to my nearest AD a week or so ago and they said they have a waiting list but with a very short lead time. They require payment up front to go on the list though, which I wouldn’t do without at least trying one on first. Sounds like they’re popping up more frequently now though, so hopefully I’ll be able to pick one up without waiting soon anyway

I was going to purchase another EO watch strap and came across these Hawkrigger watch straps. The riggerband is an elastic webbing strap based on the NASA strap set up. It boasts a priority start registered watch clasp design that echoes influence drawn from vintage marine national dive belt buckles This one is the Huey clasp in grey with black strip and was ordered from eBay and cost me £30. I liked it so much I have ordered one from their website in sand with white stripe which was £33.95 with free delivery in the uk as they are a British company. I do like the EO straps but for the money these straps are a great alternative and I do like the design of the clasp.

My all time favs for Tudor as I find other BB sits too high due to their thickness. The 58s are just great for smaller wrists!

Hope they will improve the overall fit and adjustability of the bracelet soon!

Hi BB58 owners, I need help!

I have a BB58 Blue on stock blue nato and just purchased a used OEM bracelet that does not come with spring bars. Can I just use the same stock spring bar that came with the nato or do I need to buy a new set of spring bars? And if I do need a different set of spring bars, does anyone know how much my local AD will charge me?

I've read that the spring bars on the Tudor BB41 have different lengths when paired with the nato strap and metal bracelet (nato strap spring bar is slightly longer). Is this the same with the BB58?
