Congratulations on your beautiful CHNR GMT! Just love the Rolex Everose gold and how it contrasts with the SS. Arguably the nicest Sports TT model ever. Enjoy your Root Beer and wear it in good health. Cheers!

Congratulations and thank you for sharing the wrist shots. I cannot wait to see this in person. I am due to pick one up soon! Glad I saw this thread as I am also contemplating purchasing a separate brushed bracelet from a Sub as I prefer the glidelock clasp. I think the investment of a brushed bracelet gives owners the option to tone down the watch should they choose or wear it in a classier fashion in its original form. I cannot wait to get mine!

I just got one of these today from a gray so I could see one in the flesh......I did so knowing I have the option of returning it.
It is really nice! It definitely is more subtle than the YG TT (I had a YG TT in the flesh a couple weeks ago). I think the 126711 looks much more "rich" on the wrist than the YG. Yes, the YG can be more flashy.....but it also can be mistaken for the used-car salesman fake Rolex due to the contrast between brushed SS and yellow gold. The 126711 will never be confused for that. The rose/copper-like tones blend REALLY well with the SS.....it's just a classy watch. I really really want a full yellow gold 116718.....but not ready to spend that cash if it might be discontinued or get the new movement (as I might be able to get it for less then). I will wait until after Basel 2019 until I make a decision. I am thinking of keeping the 126711 until then as I am pretty sure I can sell it for what I paid. My other option was to get the black dial SD....but I already have a 116710LN and I don't think the SD is different enough whereas the 126711 is. |

Ditto for me! I tried the BLRO but it doesn't click with me, unlike the TT Rootbeer. Thank you :) I will definitely! |

Bumping this thread up...after more than 1 year of use, my only regret is that this watch has not been enjoying as much wrist time as it should be as I am expanding my collection significantly this year (4 new watches so far!)

Waiting arrival of mine in 2020, can't wait as the watch looks sooooo good.
Delighted that you are enjoying the watch it really does look awesome, how are the polished gold centre links and clasp holding up, are they scratch magnets?

Congratulations and welcome to the "Rootbeer club".
The chocolate brown bezel and RG are a perfect combo. Love it. Got mine a year ago, but took out a link of the bracelet and handed it over to my wife-to-be so she could try it on. She considers it hers now. So be warned |

I wear brown all the time, so the CHNR has always been a watch that catches my eye. Looks great and seems like you have a lot that will pair nicely with it! Congrats.

Thank you! Hmm I didn’t really pay that much attention on the polished centre gold links and clasp. Well, scratches are definitely bound to happen hahahaa
