I ignore what people say. Just buy what you like. I dont buy the hype or flip. Its way too crowded these days. Anything I buy I plan on keeping. I have a 1603, 114300, 214270, 216570, 116613 and a 116610LV. I also have a seiko skx, breitling superocean ii and an omega smp. I plan on buying a daydate, either a YG or platinum. After that Im done. ill probably grab a Patek to finish it off.

No right answer, but I have one brand, one watch rule. I prefer diversity, but to each is own. I have a friend with 3 vintage subs, and it’s one hell of a collection.

I have a 4 piece combo meal deal all Rolex and am looking to add another piece. As much as I want to diversify, I find myself gravitating back to the Crown.

I actually had an AP Royal Oak 15400 black dial last year but got rid of it when the chance came to pick up a ceramic white dial Daytona at retail. I found the AP too delicate to wear and was constantly paranoid about scratching it.

How do you guys deal with other WIS who accuse you of being a "rolex fanboy"? Yet these same individuals tout their 37mm ultra dress pieces.

To each their own, but I think I will stick to the crown for now.
I absolutely love my JLC Grande Date because it’s a very different
thing and have a huge respect for my GShock because it’s as tough as F. Also if someone mugs me for it...do I really care!

I am 2 of 6 Rolex at the moment and love diversity. I could add a few more Rolex and a few more other brands.
