Can they still be ordered by the RSC?

At least in my case I sourced the blue dial for my 18239 through Chrono24 from Europe. Think there are others for sale

All time favorite is probably gonna be the Platinum DD41.

Nothing quite like that dial and size combination.

FYI, a TRF member said he was able to order and install a new dial for his 18239 through his AD within the last few months (non-tritium, of course) - IIRC, the only options available were baton indices on a white, black or blue dial, but I was pleased to learn that it is still possible at all (the dial was even a bit cheaper than the C24 asking prices).

Thanks for sharing! I knew that was a possibility, but then you will only be able to buy from the ones originally offered for your model (from their current stock), plus would require a service along. I wanted the modern dial as it has bigger markers and lume and my watch was serviced by my watchmen recently, so decided to source it privately and had my watchmen install it for me. Each to its own!

Hey Guys, watch buddy just showed me a 70s Day Date with a gold jubilee band. Did Rolex ever make a gold Day Date with a gold jubilee band?

Back in the 70s, my understanding is that they pretty much would mix and match as the customer desired so there would have been little issue getting a watch configured like that from an AD.

That is by far my favorite watch (not just Rolex). I’m envious - absolutely beautiful piece.

The DDII had by far the nicest ice blue dials for the platinum versions.

My new (month old) DD40. I do love this watch so far, even if it seems to bring out a few haters though..Ha! I'm happy to have hit the post count to be able to upload a picture

TRF has been extremely educational, and occasionally entertaining so far

Just should mention that your post now has me more confused than ever which DD40 to choose - had not considered the black dial, but really love how crisp this looks. I’m now deciding between blue dial, olive dial or black dial if I decide to go with WG, or the silver dial if I decide to go YG. Tough choices!

Absoultely gorgeous watch my friend.

I'm thinking of upgrading mine actually to diamond markers and bezel. I've had the Romans for close to 3 years now

Here is a pic from 2016 when I first got this watch. Still love it till this day puts a smile on my face everytime.

IMO and this is real, if I were in your position or doing it over I think id go for baguette dial and keep that beautiful fluted bezel
