My a/d is getting them soon. I suspect itll be the one that people like to shit on yet secretly will want. This blows the explorer II out of the water in terms of robustness and toughness.

Picked mine up and am pleased with it. I had handled the demo at a Tudor event at my AD so I Knew what I was getting.

I think people are stuck on the 4 o’clock crown... because it’s something they are not use to.

Also the lugs are longer... but it kind of needs to be longer given the bezel locking mechanism.

Secret desires lol.

The more I see wrist shots the more I like it.

I'm waiting for my AD to get them in as well.

This thing wears a lot differently than you would think. The articulating end links make it feel smaller than it looks. Still think I would like to explore some other strap options. The article I read on HODINKEE made it seem like it would be easy to try some other alternatives, I’m going to do some hunting.

You’re probably right.

Thanks again for talking me into getting it. I’ve had kind of a revolving door of these more inexpensive, tool type watches in my box, this one might be the most interesting, unorthodox one.

No problem, IM pretty particular in terms of buying true WIS watches but my personal hunch is they will use a lot of design cues from this watch into the regular BB line. So for me. I find it fun to wear but also that it may inspire future Tudor lines. As their slogan is Dare...

I pulled my Explorer out and it looks like the bracelet is the right size and finish. I might ask the watchmaker to see if it would fit.

See that weird gap where the claw comes in contact with the lug? That would bother the heck out of me....that wasn't the picture I was trying to reference. But you'll see what I mean in other pictures.
