Thank you! and congrats on yours, I actually only like the DD2 with roman numerals, just love that balance and proportions are perfect for me, unlike how most think of the DD41, which I can see with the stick dials maybe. Just IMHO

I'm torn over light versus dark dial but man does that look good on you! Perfect size and unmistakable wrist presence. As for color, metal, etc., purely personal and you'll always get an even mix of opinions. The YG, however, always says, "I've arrived". You can't beat that.

Thanks so much! Oh, I dont own a 1680, just this DD2 and a YM2. Both all parts are original and untouched.

Yellow Gold and Black just go so well together. I had looked at the DDII at first but settled on the DD40 with the black dial. Proportions for me seemed a tad bit better for my wrist and I liked the idea of having the ceramic inserts on the links and the 70 hour reserve. But its a true grail reference for sure, congrats!

Thanks so much! I was first considering the DD40 YG with the black dial, I just love the roman numerals and not sure why the DD40 doesn't have that combo. To be honest, this is the only DD2 I liked, the other dials with the 41 case just didnt do it for me :/

I agree with the comments that a lighter dial would be nicer on a yellow gold dress watch, The fit is great on you.

If only it stood out some more - it's kinda subtle

It looks great. I've never seen this particular combo, but the black and gold is very legible. Nice selection!

It truly is a stunner! Like others have said, that yellow gold and black dial go so well together!

Looks great! Love black and gold. My DJ 41 with that configuration is my favorite watch. The combo is striking and makes the watch very legible.
