Rolex Oyster Reference 4461/4377 Movement Identification Needed

Hello Rolex Collectors,

I recently acquired a Rolex Oyster with reference 4461/4377 from the mid 1940's. Unfortunately the crown is not original and I believe the stem is broken as well. In order to source a new stem I need to identify the movement, but further then that it is a 10.5" ligne movement I didn't come yet.

Hopefully somebody here can help! See here under the pictures:

Thank you for your help!

I can't identify the movement, best I can do is provide a list of movements (from 1966 C&E Marshall Watch Material catalog). The 10.5 ligne manual wind would make 700/710, 760, or 1200/1210/1215/1216 calbres the most likely. The First column is the Rolex Calibre (movement)# Good Luck!

Thank you for the overview of the moments. I now understand better why it would be difficult to get the exact caliber number given the many different 10.5 line manual wind movements Rolex produced.

Appears to be a cal 710; the 1200-series movements are completely different. See the Ranfft page for stem info.
